What does this site precisely do?

This site converts a ppsx file (Microsoft PowerPoint Slide Show) to a video with audio as if the presentation was played and recorded.

The resulting video is like mp4, but flv, because it is 50 times faster to generate.

The conversion happens completely online. As a result, you can use this site on any platform, e.g. Windows, Mac, Linux.

If you cannot open ppsx at all, this site can help you too, since it is much easier to open a video file.

What's about privacy? What happens to my videos? Who sees them?

I value your privacy, that's why I've made a number of measures to protect your data:

The site uses HTTPS, so that your internet provider does not have access to the uploaded or downloaded files.
In order to retrieve the resulting video, one needs 50 character randomly generated token. Thus, other people (who don't have the token) don't have access to the video.
All your data is processed automatically without any human, thus, no one can see it.
The ppsx is deleted automatically right after processing. The video is deleted automatically in 45 minutes after the processing.

In order to improve the site and debug issues, the following information is stored:

randomly generated token
general details about the ppsx file (extension from filename, sha256 hash, size)
key times (when upload started, when upload finished, internal processes start and end times)
number of times video was downloaded and when (only first and last times)
number of times "expired results page" was opened and when (only first and last times)

The server also stores access log - for each opened page - time, page, IP.

The site also uses Google Analytics (with IP anonymization turned on) to analyse the site usage and to improve its quality.
